Aureum Awards – Terms & Conditions, Privacy & GDPR Notice

By submitting an entry, purchasing a ticket, attending, sponsoring, or otherwise participating in the Aureum Awards (“the Awards”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, including the Privacy and GDPR provisions set out below.

1. Organiser

The Aureum Awards are organised and operated by Aureum Awards UK (“the Organiser”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Event Information

The Aureum Awards will take place on 18th September at:
Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol.

The Organiser reserves the right to amend the event date, time, location, schedule, or format at any time due to operational, safety, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Following the initial launch phase, the Organiser reserves the right to modify, restructure, or expand any aspect of the Awards, including award categories, judging processes, and the structure of regional and national awards. Regional and national awards may be held on the same evening.

3. Tickets & Attendance

  • A valid ticket must be purchased to attend the event and to receive any award.

  • Tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

  • Tickets will normally remain valid if event details are amended.

  • Attendance is limited to ticket holders and authorised guests only.

4. Networking & Participation

All networking, communication, and interaction during the event is voluntary and undertaken at the individual’s own discretion. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for any outcomes resulting from networking or communications.

5. Conduct & Behaviour

All attendees must conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and appropriate manner.

Bad, disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

The Organiser and venue staff reserve the right to refuse entry or require any individual to leave the venue on 18 September, without refund, if behaviour is deemed unacceptable or poses a risk to others, the venue, or the event.

6. Food Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Attendees are responsible for disclosing any food allergies or dietary requirements in advance. The Organiser accepts no liability for allergic reactions where such information has not been provided.

7. Loss or Damage to Property

The Organiser accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property during the event on 18 September, except where caused by proven negligence. All personal belongings are brought at the attendee’s own risk.

8. Media, Photography & Recording

Photography, video, and audio recording will take place throughout the event.

By attending the event, you grant the Organiser full, irrevocable rights to capture, use, store, edit, and distribute any images, video, or recordings taken during the event.

All media remains the exclusive property of the Organiser and may be used for:

  • Promotion of the Aureum Awards

  • Marketing and publicity

  • Future Aureum Awards events

No compensation shall be payable.

9. Entries, Judging & Awards

  • Submission of an entry does not guarantee shortlisting or winning an award.

  • All judging decisions are final and binding.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to move, amend, or remove entries at its discretion.

10. Privacy, Data Protection & GDPR

The Organiser is committed to protecting personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Personal data collected through entries, ticket purchases, event attendance, or communications will be:

  • Processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently

  • Used only for purposes related to the administration, promotion, and delivery of the Aureum Awards

  • Stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary

By submitting an entry, you explicitly consent to the Organiser sharing your submitted information with Aureum Awards sponsors only, where relevant to the Awards. Personal data will not be sold or shared with unrelated third parties.

11. Force Majeure

The Organiser shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure arises from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, fire, flood, severe weather, pandemic, government restrictions, venue unavailability, industrial action, or technical failure.

In such circumstances, the Organiser reserves the right to amend, postpone, relocate, or cancel the event without liability.

12. Liability

Attendance and participation are entirely at the individual’s own risk. The Organiser shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from participation or attendance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
